WASHQUESTLA TERMS OF SERVICE & USE
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
Last Updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms of Service and Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the WashQuestLA website, mobile services, online ordering system, and laundry services, including wash-and-fold, pickup, delivery, and drop-off services.
In these Terms, “WashQuestLA,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to WashQuestLA and its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and authorized service providers, as applicable.
“You,” “your,” and “customer” refer to the individual or entity using our website or services.
By creating an account, placing an order, scheduling a pickup, dropping off laundry, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. SERVICES
WashQuestLA may provide services including:
Wash-and-fold laundry
Residential laundry pickup and delivery
Commercial laundry services
In-store laundry drop-off and pickup
Special laundry preferences or treatments when available
Other laundry-related services that we may offer from time to time
Service availability, service areas, prices, turnaround times, and minimum-order requirements may vary.
We reserve the right to reasonably refuse an order when we cannot safely or properly process the laundry or when providing service would violate applicable law or these Terms.

2. CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY
By placing an order, you represent that:
You are legally capable of entering into an agreement;
The information you provide is accurate;
You are authorized to use the payment method provided;
You have authority to submit the laundry being provided to us; and
Your use of WashQuestLA does not violate applicable law.
If you are placing an order on behalf of a business or another organization, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf.

3. ACCOUNTS
Certain WashQuestLA services may require you to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Please notify WashQuestLA promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate an account for fraud, abuse, nonpayment, repeated violations of these Terms, safety concerns, or other legitimate business reasons.

4. PRICING
WashQuestLA's current prices will be displayed on our website, ordering platform, at our store, or otherwise communicated to you when you order.
Wash-and-fold services may be priced by weight.
Additional charges may apply for certain services or items, such as:
Rush service
Specialty items
Oversized items
Comforters and blankets
Special handling
Additional pickup or delivery attempts
Other optional services selected by the customer
Prices are subject to change prospectively.
The price applicable to an order will generally be the price disclosed when that order is placed, subject to adjustments based on actual laundry weight, minimum-order requirements, and additional services requested or authorized.

5. MINIMUM ORDER
Pickup and delivery services may be subject to a minimum order amount.
For example, if WashQuestLA establishes a $30 minimum order, an order weighing less than the amount necessary to reach $30 will still be subject to the $30 minimum.
The applicable minimum will be displayed or disclosed during ordering.
Minimum order amounts may vary based on service area, service type, promotions, or other disclosed factors.

6. ESTIMATED AND FINAL WEIGHT
Because the exact weight of your laundry may not be known when you schedule pickup, any initial price displayed before we receive and weigh your laundry may be an estimate.
Laundry will be weighed after it is received by WashQuestLA.
The weight recorded using our commercial scale will ordinarily be used to calculate the final charge for services priced by weight.
The final order price may therefore be higher or lower than an initial estimate, subject to any applicable minimum order.

7. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
A valid payment method may be required when scheduling an order.
By submitting an order and providing a payment method, you authorize WashQuestLA and its third-party payment processor to charge that payment method for amounts properly due for your order in accordance with these Terms.
We may place an authorization or temporary hold on your payment method when an order is submitted.
For example, if the pickup and delivery minimum is $40, we may authorize your payment method for $40 when the order is placed.
After receiving and weighing your laundry, we will calculate the final amount due.
If the final amount is greater than the initial authorization or estimate, you authorize us to charge the payment method associated with the order for the final amount properly due, provided the pricing method and applicable charges were disclosed when you ordered.

8. DECLINED PAYMENTS
If your payment method is declined or cannot be processed, we may contact you for an alternative payment method.
Delivery or release of completed laundry may be delayed until amounts properly due have been paid.
We may also suspend future service for accounts with unpaid balances.

9. RECEIPTS AND PAYMENT QUESTIONS
Electronic receipts may be provided by email, text message, through your account, or through our payment processor.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact WashQuestLA promptly so that we can investigate.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate any dispute, refund, chargeback, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

10. PICKUP
Customers must provide accurate:
Pickup address
Unit or apartment number
Gate/access instructions
Contact information
Pickup instructions
Laundry should be securely bagged and ready at the designated location.
If you authorize an unattended pickup, you authorize WashQuestLA or its driver to retrieve the laundry from the location you designate.
WashQuestLA assumes responsibility for the laundry after our driver actually takes possession of the laundry, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

11. UNATTENDED PICKUP
If you instruct us to collect laundry from an unattended location such as:
A porch
Front door
Lobby
Reception area
Garage
Designated locker
Building entrance
Other designated location
you accept the risks associated with leaving the laundry unattended before our driver takes possession.
We are not responsible for theft, loss, weather exposure, or damage occurring before we actually receive the laundry, except to the extent otherwise required by law.

12. DELIVERY
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and reasonable access instructions.
If you or an authorized recipient accepts the laundry directly, delivery is considered completed when the laundry is transferred to that person.
If you authorize unattended delivery, delivery is considered completed when the order is left at the location specified in your delivery instructions.

13. UNATTENDED DELIVERY
By requesting or authorizing an unattended delivery, you authorize us to leave your completed laundry at the designated location.
After an authorized unattended delivery has been completed, WashQuestLA is not responsible for subsequent:
Theft
Loss
Weather exposure
Damage
Unauthorized removal
Other events occurring after delivery
except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
We may use photographs, timestamps, driver records, electronic notifications, or other reasonable records to document completion of delivery.

14. PICKUP AND DELIVERY TIMES
Pickup, processing, and delivery times are estimates unless we expressly guarantee a particular service.
Delays may occur because of circumstances including:
Traffic
Weather
Equipment malfunction
Utility interruptions
Unusually high order volume
Staffing issues
Building access problems
Incorrect customer information
Events beyond our reasonable control
We will make reasonable efforts to complete orders within the estimated timeframe and communicate significant delays.

15. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Customers may cancel or reschedule orders subject to the cancellation policy displayed when the order is placed.
A reasonable cancellation, missed-pickup, or trip fee may apply when:
A driver has already been dispatched;
The customer cancels after the applicable cancellation deadline;
Laundry is not available at the designated pickup location;
The address provided is incorrect;
The driver cannot reasonably access the location; or
The driver must make an additional trip because of circumstances within the customer's control.
Any applicable fee will be disclosed before it is imposed where required.

16. WASHING AND DRYING PROCEDURES
WashQuestLA will use reasonable commercial laundry practices when processing customer laundry.
Unless otherwise requested and accepted, laundry may be:
Sorted according to our standard procedures;
Machine washed using commercial laundry equipment;
Dried using commercial dryers;
Folded; and
Packaged for pickup or delivery.
Customers acknowledge that ordinary laundering naturally involves some risk of wear.

17. CUSTOMER PREFERENCES AND SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Customers may be able to select preferences such as:
Detergent preference
Fabric softener preference
Dryer sheet preference
Washing temperature
Drying temperature
Fragrance-free service
Other available options
We will make reasonable efforts to follow accepted customer instructions.
However, we cannot guarantee every special request.
If instructions are unclear, inconsistent, unsafe, or unsuitable for the garments submitted, we may use reasonable commercial judgment or contact you before proceeding.

18. SORTING AND COLOR SEPARATION
WashQuestLA will use reasonable commercial practices when sorting laundry.
Customers acknowledge that certain garments may bleed, fade, transfer dye, shrink, stretch, or otherwise change during ordinary washing and drying.
New, heavily dyed, delicate, or unstable garments may present increased risk.
Customers should identify items requiring special treatment before submitting them.

19. CARE LABELS
Customers are responsible for identifying garments requiring special care.
Items labeled:
Dry Clean Only
Hand Wash Only
Do Not Wash
Do Not Tumble Dry
Spot Clean Only
or otherwise requiring specialized treatment should not be included with standard wash-and-fold laundry unless WashQuestLA has specifically agreed to process them.
WashQuestLA is not responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage resulting from inaccurate, missing, unreadable, or incorrect manufacturer care instructions or from submitting an item for a service inconsistent with its care requirements.

20. SHRINKAGE, FADING AND NORMAL WEAR
Some garments naturally shrink, fade, pill, stretch, wrinkle, lose color, weaken, or otherwise change during normal laundering.
WashQuestLA is not responsible for ordinary wear or changes inherent in properly laundering a garment according to reasonable commercial practices, except where damage results from our failure to exercise reasonable care.

21. STAINS
WashQuestLA does not guarantee removal of every stain.
Some stains may be permanent.
Stain removal procedures may also cause changes in color, texture, or fabric condition.
If specialized stain treatment is requested and accepted, the customer acknowledges the inherent risks associated with attempting to remove difficult stains.

22. ITEMS LEFT IN POCKETS
Customers are responsible for checking and emptying all pockets before submitting laundry.
Examples include:
Cash
Credit cards
Jewelry
Keys
AirPods or headphones
Phones
Electronics
Pens
Markers
Lipstick
Cosmetics
Gum
Medication
Coins
Paper
Tissues
Sharp objects
Other personal belongings
Items left inside clothing can damage both the item itself and other garments.
WashQuestLA is not responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage caused by objects that the customer leaves inside clothing or laundry bags.
If we discover valuable personal property, we will make reasonable efforts to identify and return it to the customer.

23. DELICATE, EXPENSIVE AND IRREPLACEABLE ITEMS
Standard wash-and-fold service is not intended for unusually valuable, delicate, collectible, sentimental, or irreplaceable items.
Customers should not include items such as:
Jewelry
Cash
Important documents
Heirlooms
Collectibles
Certain designer garments
Specialty fabrics
Irreplaceable clothing
without first confirming that WashQuestLA has agreed to accept the item for appropriate service.

24. HAZARDOUS AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
Customers must not submit laundry containing or contaminated with dangerous or hazardous materials, including:
Gasoline
Flammable liquids
Solvents
Toxic chemicals
Pesticides
Needles
Syringes
Sharp objects
Biohazardous materials
Excessive bodily fluids
Hazardous waste
Other materials presenting an unreasonable health or safety risk
WashQuestLA may refuse to process such items.
Customers may be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for reasonable costs or damages caused by knowingly or negligently submitting hazardous materials.

25. PET HAIR AND HEAVILY SOILED ITEMS
We reserve the right to refuse, separately process, or apply an additional disclosed charge to laundry containing excessive:
Pet hair
Dirt
Grease
Oil
Odor
Bodily fluids
Other contamination
when the condition requires materially different handling from an ordinary wash-and-fold order.
Where practicable, we will notify the customer before applying an additional charge.

26. LOST OR MISSING ITEMS
WashQuestLA takes reasonable precautions to prevent loss of customer laundry.
Customers should inspect their completed order promptly after pickup or delivery.
If you believe an item is missing, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
You should provide:
Your order number

Approximate age
Approximate purchase price

Receipt or other proof of value, if available
We will reasonably investigate reported missing items.

27. DAMAGED ITEMS
If you believe an item was damaged while in our possession, please contact us promptly after receiving the order.
Do not discard the item while the claim is being investigated.
We may request photographs, receipts, garment information, proof of purchase, or an opportunity to inspect the item.
WashQuestLA will evaluate claims based on the circumstances, condition and age of the garment, care instructions, nature of the damage, available documentation, and applicable law.

28. CLAIM VALUATION
When WashQuestLA is legally responsible for a lost or damaged garment, any reimbursement may take into consideration the item's:
Original purchase price
Age
Condition before laundering
Expected useful life
Depreciation
Available documentation
Replacement value
subject to applicable California law.
Replacement with a brand-new item at full original retail price is not automatically guaranteed when the lost or damaged item was used, worn, or depreciated.
Nothing in this section limits a remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

29. PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE
WashQuestLA is not responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage resulting from conditions existing before we received the garment, including:
Weak or deteriorated fabric
Loose stitching
Missing or loose buttons
Broken zippers
Tears
Holes
Manufacturer defects
Defective dyes
Glued decorations
Beads or sequins
Worn elastic
Previously damaged material
Normal laundering may reveal or worsen previously weakened materials.

30. MIXED CUSTOMER LOADS
WashQuestLA will use reasonable procedures intended to keep customer orders appropriately identified and processed.
If our operating practice is to process each customer's laundry separately, we may state that practice on our website or ordering platform.
However, operational practices may vary depending on the service selected and should not be considered a guarantee unless expressly stated.

31. UNCLAIMED LAUNDRY
Customers are responsible for accepting delivery or retrieving completed laundry within a reasonable period.
If laundry remains unclaimed, we will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer using the information associated with the order.
Unclaimed property will be handled in accordance with applicable California law.
Any storage fee will be disclosed before being imposed where required.

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us promptly.
Depending on the circumstances, WashQuestLA may offer:
Re-cleaning
A service credit
Partial refund
Full refund
Other appropriate resolution
when warranted.
Refunds and credits are determined based on the circumstances and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

WashQuestLA may offer:
Promotional discounts
Referral credits
Coupon codes

34. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RECURRING SERVICES
WashQuestLA may offer recurring pickup or subscription services in the future.
Any recurring service will be subject to the terms presented when the customer enrolls.
Where required by law, WashQuestLA will obtain affirmative consent before enrolling a customer in automatically renewing or recurring paid services and will provide required cancellation methods, acknowledgments, notices, and disclosures.
A customer will not be enrolled in a paid recurring program merely by placing a normal one-time laundry order.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

51. VENUE
Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and any jurisdictional requirements that cannot be waived, disputes arising from these Terms or WashQuestLA's services shall be brought in an appropriate court located in Los Angeles County, California.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court or exercising a right to another venue when applicable law provides that right.
